| Object: | This nebula, in the constellation of Cygnus, does indeed look like the North American continent. It is about 65 l.y. in size. A dark dust lane separates it from the Pelican Nebula (IC 5067/68/70). Both these nebulae are part of a huge complex of gas and dust in this region of the Milky Way. | |
